Welcome To Open Mic Night!

At Strictly Country we celebrate the artistry within music.  We do so by honoring this artistry within our publication and on our Friday night radio show – Around The Campfire.  Many of the songs that we feature on our radio show rarely gain airplay on national radio.  As a result, Around The Campfire is gaining vast attention from music fans world wide.

We understand how hard it is for songwriters to get their songs out to the industry.   Therefore, four times a year, Strictly Country will host an episode of Around The Campfire called Open Mic Night.  On this show we will feature original pieces of submitted work for all to hear.  The show will also feature the songwriter speaking about their submitted piece.  As part of the show we will critique the submitted songs.

It is our intention with this show; to showcase songwriters to the fans, but also to entertainers looking for new material. This material must fit under the country music umbrella.  Click here to see what that entails.  We invite all songwriters to submit their original pieces to us, but we ask that you please follow the rules below…
