Help Us Help Them...

It’s early in the morning as the snow gently dances to the ground.  As the sun mildly comes over the horizon, children every where are eagerly waking up. Its Christmas deep in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Minnesota, and the best part about Christmas is the love that the season brings.  As family and friends enter into the cabin, they all admire the beautiful Christmas tree that stands so regally in the corner.  Gently hanging upon her branches are Christmas ornaments autographed by various Entertainers in Country Music, Bluegrass and Rock-n-Roll.  Guests admire their beauty as they ask you “Where did you get that ornament?”  With pride, you state that you purchased them from Fight For The Future Charities…

It’s called Wisconsin and Minnesota nice and it’s a beautiful thing.  Beginning in April 1996, Strictly Country Magazine captured that Wisconsin and Minnesota nice in what we call Fight For The Future Charities, FFFC. Through FFFC, we ask entertainers to autograph Christmas ornaments and donate other items to raise funds for various charitable organizations.  In the past we have worked with The American Cancer Society, The Jacob Whetterling Foundation For Missing Children, the POW Network and St Croix Animal Friends.

On July 1, 2015, Strictly Country began working with The Highground Veteran’s Memorial Park.  Located three miles west of Neillsville, Wisconsin, The Highground is the only non-government funded Memorial park.  The 155 acre manned Veterans memorial park pays tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice as well as honors the survivors, their service and their sacrifices.  The Highground fulfills its mission of healing and education by bringing past lessons into our hopes for the future.  For more information about The Highground click here.
The Highground Veterans Memorial Park logoThe nice thing about donating to FFFC, is that it is totally tax-deductible under IRS rulings to the full extent of the law. However, the nicest thing about FFFC is that all items donated are priced affordably.  Strictly Country chose to keep the price of each item low so that any person under any financial bracket can afford these items.  Since its inception, Fight For The Future Charities has raised over $4000.

We still welcome any donated items.  We also have a variety of Christmas ornaments waiting to be autographed.  If you are interested in helping, please contact us.
